The basic rules of good pennant design involve knowing the most important ideas in visuals, picking the correct sizes, and selecting forms which go with what the pennant is for. These rules are the same no matter if you are making football pennants to trade with other clubs, or pennants for businesses to use at events.
The most important part of pennant design that makes it work is the difference in colour and how easily it can be read. We need a large difference in colour between the letters and the area behind them – black letters on a white area, or the other way around – so people can see it from far away.
